Parting Words

Remember how, at the beginning, we emphasized that Instructional Design is a systems approach?

We hope you've gained an appreciation that effective instruction is not just "lecture and test" and that everything you do is part of an integrated teaching system--a system that encompasses everything from the catalog description of your course, to class activities and materials, to after-training support. 

Every day we're given an opportunity to work on at least one tiny piece of that system.  And by making that piece a little bit better, we're having an impact on the entire system.  Slowly, semester by semester, year by year, our instruction improves until it's superlative.
